Well, it’s election time again! The elections will take place at the September General Meeting. At newsletter time, we’re still looking for someone to fill the Vice-President position. Our current President and Vice-President are moving on to do other things (focus more on family and education, respectively) but we really appreciate all that they’ve done for us! And, Jackson will continue to lead field trips as well as being one of our Directors-at-Large. We can also really use more Directors-At-Large. It’s a position that doesn’t involve much, but can give you a good feel for whether you’d like to have additional involvement.

Wayland Augur will begin sharing newsletter duties with Tim Ruckle in the near future. Newsletter Editor is one of those positions that can be hard to fill because it’s a bit of work, and when we make mistakes they’re all out there for the world to see! Tim has been doing a bang-up job on the proofreading for about a year now, and has significantly decreased the number of errors that make it out to our readers.

Phil Johnson has agreed to take over as President, and we have a few other possible changes that are not yet confirmed as this newsletter goes to press.
