May Meeting – "Birds of Sierra Valley and Yuba Pass"

Monday, May 16, 2005, 7:30 PM

Text Box: Mac Cormick presents his personal look at Birds of Sierra Valley and Yuba Pass. A retired high school biology teacher of 35 years and the co-director of the San Francisco State University (SFSU) Sierra Nevada Field Station Bird Banding Program, Mac has caught and banded thousands of birds that most people only hope to see.  Come and experience his slides of these exciting local Sierran birds.  What a great follow-up to last month's program with John Muir Laws and a great lead-in to this summer's possibilities of birding this area.

The meeting will be at the Chico Creek Nature Center, 1968 East 8th Street.
