Jackson Shedd and Mela Garcia reported a Peregrine Falcon in Bidwell Park on March 9. They also reported Rufous and Black-chinned Hummingbirds at their feeder.

Tim Ruckle also reported a Rufous Hummingbird on April 2 and an Orange-crowned Warbler on March 19.

Janeece Webb reported a male Costa's Hummingbird hanging out at her feeder.  Any birders are welcome to drop in and sit on the front porch and look for it.  Just don't knock on the door, as she is resting from an illness.  Also, a Red-naped Sapsucker has been seen between her place and Neal Road.  She is at 3360 Neal Rd. as it intersects Rivendell lane.  Her number is 877-3270.

On the February 20 field trip to Black Butte Lake, highlights included Lawrence’s Goldfinches and three Wild Turkeys.
