Field Trip Leaders Needed!

Bad news – we’re once again without a field trip chair! Hopefully you can all get out on your own. If any of you are interested, or know anyone who would be, have them contact us. The field trip chair doesn’t need to be a great birder, just be willing to commit to a time and place to get people together. Ideally the position needs someone who would be going birding anyway, and just announces it ahead of time so that others can tag along if they want. They also need to be willing and able to make arrangements for trips that are further away when groups are involved.

That having been said, I’ll continue to lead an occasional trip… like the one below.

Saturday October 23 – Oxidation Ponds. Meet at Chico Park & Ride (the lot nearest the freeway) at 8 AM for a morning of birding. Waterfowl will be the main attraction but who knows what we might see.
