Saturday, June 28 - A Summer Trip To the Mountains of Butte County. Meet at Chico Park & Ride at 7:30 a.m. We will explore the Butte Meadows Area and beyond. We should see lots of nesting birds. Friday-Sunday, August 1-3 - Sierra Valley & and Yuba Pass. We’ll meet at 4:30 PM Friday to get out of the valley heat. We will have dinner on the way and then camp at Yuba Pass. Saturday night we’ll camp at Lake Davis. We should see a variety of birds in the many habitats we’ll cover. Saturday, August 23 - Black Butte Lake. Meet at Burger King in Orland (Hwy 32 & I-5) at 7:30 AM. Bring lunch, plenty of water (it will be hot!), sun block, mosquito repellant, & a hat.
