Saturday, May 31 – Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge. Meet at the Chico Park and Ride for car pooling at 7:30 AM or at the refuge at about 8:30 AM. Although much of the waterfowl will be gone, there may still be stragglers and some migrants. After, we’ll check out the heron rookery on Hwy 162. Bring lunch, as we’ll be eating there. Saturday, June 28 - A Summer Trip To The Mountains of Butte County. Meet at Chico Park & Ride at 7:30 a.m. We will explore the Butte Meadows Area and beyond. We should see lots of nesting birds.
