| President's Message |
It is with mixed emotions that I will be resigning as President effective Feb. 1, 2003. My wife and I are moving to the Hill Country of Texas. This was my 3rd term as President; I have been on the board almost continuously since 1972 and have had the pleasure of working with very dedicated and hardworking board members. I have been led and led others on fieldtrips. I have watched Chico grow and have fought battles to slow the growth and to try and maintain the quality of life in Chico.
It is now time for others of our members to step forward and help the board to carry on these activities.
Phil Johnson has agreed to be the compiler for the Chico Christmas count. I still need a replacement for the Oroville Count. Richard E. Redmond Sr.
