June 28-30 - Yuba Pass and Sierra Valley. Meet at Chico Park and Ride at 4 PM. We will have dinner on the way and then camp at Yuba Pass. Past trips to the pass have had Pygmy Owl, Black-backed Woodpeckers, Evening Grosbeaks and Red Crossbills. We will bird down the hill to the East Side. Sierra Valley will take the next day and a half to bird.
July 19-21 - Eagle Lake, Honey Lake and Susanville environs. Meet at the Chico Park and Ride at 4 PM. We may camp or we may stay at the Eagle Lake Field Station. Past highlights were Brewer's Sparrows, Pine Grosbeaks, Eastern Kingbird and Swainson's Thrush. There were also warblers, flycatchers, Nighthawks and Shorebirds.
August 9-11 - Tule Lake. Meet at 4 PM at the Chico Park and Ride. We will camp at Lava Beds. Shorebird Migration will be our goal 2 - years ago in August they had Mongolian Plover.
August 23-25 - Lassen Park. Meet at the Chico Park and Ride at 4 PM. Group camping will near Drakesbad this year. This is an unexplored area for your leader.
