On our board we have some good folks but not enough to keep the organization viable. I appreciate all the people who do help. Skip Augur has three positions, and two of them are time-consuming. Dave Anderson has one, but he gives lots of time to legal issues. Kathryn Hood has been on the board for 20 years. Yet most of our seven hundred people don't do anything! You don't go on field trips or come to meetings. Where are you faceless people? The board has great people on it, but they need your help. If you enjoy writing, become the editor of the newsletter. If you have bookkeeping ability become treasurer! There are lots of places you can help out!

(Editor's note - The newsletter doesn't actually even take writing skill. All I really do is remind the board when the newsletter is due, and collate information that they and our other contributors send to me. A love of writing might be a plus, but is certainly not required!)
