February 22-24 - Panoche Valley. No-one went in January, so we'll try again! We will meet at the Chico Park and Ride at 4 PM on Friday. We'll spend Friday and Saturday night in Hollister. Last year we went in early spring and it was fantastic. We will be looking for Mountain Plovers and Lawrence's Goldfinches. On Sunday morning we'll get an early start for Pinnacles National Monument. If you plan on going let Richard know at 893-5382. March 8-10 - Honey Lake & Environs. We'll leave from the Chico Park and Ride at 4 PM on the 8th. Hearty souls can camp at The fleming unit of Honey Lake, others can stay in Susanville. Sage Grouse, Chukar, Sage Sparrow and hawks will be our mark.
