Saturday, January 12 - Oroville Wildlife area and Lake Oroville environs. This can be a half- or full-day trip, depending on how the day goes. January 25-27 - Panoche Valley. We will meet at the Chico Park and Ride at 4 PM. We will spend Friday and Saturday night in Hollister. Last year Steve Emmons and I went in early spring and it was fantastic. We will be looking for Mountain Plovers and Lawrence's Goldfinches. Saturday, February 2 - Mendocino Genetic Resource Center ("Tree Improvement Center"). Meet at the Chico Park and Ride at 7 AM for this half-day trip. We'll need to carpool as there is limited parking.
