November 11 - Chico Oxidation Ponds. Meet at the Chico Park and Ride at 7:30 AM. We'll go look at those pesky dull plumaged ducks and whatever else shows up. November 25 - Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge. Meet at the Chico Park and Ride at 7 A.M. This will be an all day trip so bring lunch and liquids. Dress warmly. There will be light hiking. Most of the viewing will be from cars or viewing platforms. Ducks deluxe and geese are the main attraction. December 9 - Gray Lodge State Wildlife Area. Meet at the Chico Park and Ride at 7 A.M. Ducks and geese will once again be the main attraction, but cranes and raptors will also be there to feast your eyes on. Bring lunch and liquids and dress warmly.
