May Meeting - What Was That Brightly Colored Passerine?

With Steve Emmons

Monday, May 21 16, 2001, 7:30 PM, Chico Creek Nature Center

1968 East Eighth St., Chico, 95928

Steve will show slides of the Neotropical species that have recently invaded the North Valley. This program is meant to help you identify these winged jewels (such as Bullock's Orioles and Western Tanagers) that are so bright yet sometimes difficult to see.

We'll also have a short presentation on Shade-Grown Coffee, with special coffee as a refreshment. See the associated article in this newsletter.
