March 10 - Chico Oxidation Ponds. Meet at the Chico Creek Nature Center at 7:45 AM. The Chico Oxidation Ponds is a place where you can usually often see 50 species in a morning. March 23 - 25 - Panoche Valley. We will explore a new area for Altacal. I learned of this area at last year's Central Valley Birding Symposium. It struck me as an area with Southern California and Coastal California influences. Be prepared to camp in case motels are not available.

April 14 - Upper Bidwell Park. Meet at the Nature Center at 7 AM. We will check to see what Spring migrants have shown up and what winter visitors are still hanging around.

April 21 Dog Island (Red Bluff). Meet at Chico Park and Ride at 7 AM. The pursuit of Spring Migrants will be our mission once again!
