October 14 - Plant Introduction Station. We will meet at the Chico Creek Nature Center at 7:30 AM and car pool to the Plant center. Parking is limited, so we should try to limit the number of cars. Winter visitors and resident birds should be in full swing. This will be a half-day trip. October 20-22 - Tulelake and the Lower Klamath Refuge. Join us for "Ducks Deluxe" in far northern California! We'll leave at 4:30 on Friday and camp at the Lava Beds campground (hotels are available nearby for the less hardy among us).
