I recently sent out a letter to 40 Butte County elementary school Principals informing them of a great opportunity we have made available for their teachers. Some of you may recall that Altacal Audubon raised enough money to sponsor Audubon Adventures in at least 15 area classrooms. This means that we will purchase the Audubon Adventures for them. Audubon Adventures is a great environmental education tool-kit for 4-6 grade students and is made available through National Audubon. So far, I have received requests from 5 area schools and am still getting about 1 call a week. I will post what classrooms we have sponsored as soon as I believe I have heard from everybody.
