June 16-18 - Yuba Pass and Sierra Valley. In the past this trip has provided us with excellent looks at Pygmy Owl, Black-backed Woodpecker and Red Crossbill (just to name a few). We'll camp at Yuba Pass on Friday night and at Lake Davis Saturday night. Bring food, dress warm, and be ready for a great weekend! July 14-16 - Eagle Lake and Honey Lake. We will stay at the Eagle Lake Field Station and bird the Field Station and surrounding environs on Saturday. On Sunday we will explore Honey Lake and other high desert spots. Reservations should be in by June 26. August 18-20 - Lassen Park. We will camp at the group campground at Lost Creek. Saturday we will bird Brokeoff trail. The willows at the trail base are good for Warblers, and Blue Grouse is frequently encountered along the Trail. We will find another spot to bird in the afternoon.
