May 27, 2000 - The Sacramento River in Butte County. Meet
at the Indian Fisheries parking lot (at the end of West Sacramento Ave.)
at 7 A.M. I would suggest long pants and long-sleeved shirts, as a recent
foray to the area provided me with two ticks (and I don't mean life birds!).
We will start early and bird till noon. Things you can expect to see are
Lazuli Buntings, Blue Grosbeaks, Ash-throated Flycatchers and Swainson's
Hawk (just to name a few).
