April Meeting - Gulls & Other Birds of the California Coast

with Bart Cord

Monday, April 17, 2000, 7:30 PM, Chico Creek Nature Center

1968 East Eighth St., Chico, 95928

Mr. Cord lived for an extended amount of time along the Southern California Coast, and now hails from Burney. While living on the coast he became adept at identifying gulls. He would disagree with Jon Dunn's summation that the "best way to learn Gulls is to move to Ohio". He is a graduate from Cornell University who is currently working for the U.S. Forest Service out of the Redding Office. Come join us and learn about the various plumages of the three and four-year gulls. [Image]
