A fabulous way for Altacal Audubon to support our local schools with bird education is through the NAS Audubon Adventures program. The $35 program presents basic, scientifically accurate facts about birds, wildlife, and their habitat, and is geared for the 4th-6th grade level. When a school knows that this program is available, we can be their sponsors by buying them the materials. Often, a teacher's classroom budget does not allow for a new expense, even one as worthwhile as this. Please indicate with the donation that it is for Audubon Adventures. If you like, we can let you know what school was sponsored with your gift. You don't have to give a whole $35; every little bit helps!

Audubon Adventures Classroom Kits contain:

• Four separate packets of Audubon Adventures, an innovative environmental newspaper just for kids. All new topics each year. 32 copies per packet.
• Classroom Resource Manual, filled with hands-on activities, duplicating masters, and research material.
• Classroom wall certificate, acknowledging the participation of the class in Audubon Adventures.
• Internet projects.
