November 6, 1999 - Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge. Meet at the Chico Park & Ride at 7 AM or at the Sac Refuge parking area at 8:30 AM. Join us for a morning of waterfowl and marsh delights. Bring lunch and thirst quenchers. Dress appropriately for the weather. Rain does not cancel.

Saturday, Nov. 13th - Chico Oxidation Ponds. Meet at the ponds at 8 AM for a half-day trip that will allow you to get up close and personal with waterfowl. Our local Oxidation Ponds have been mentioned in several books on Northern California as a premier birding spot. Those of us who have birded it for years are some of it most ardent devotees. Dress warm!

Saturday, Dec. 11 - Upper Bidwell Park. Meet at 8 AM at the old shooting range at Horseshoe Lake. This will give you a chance to brush up your skills of observation of Passerines and Raptors before the Christmas Bird counts begin. Dress warmly and bring lunch and liquids.
