Altacal Audubon used its clout to good use by helping to expose the awful and blatant violation that occurred at the Benedict Ranch Development. We wrote a letter to the City Council and related city agencies, which was partially quoted in the Chico Enterprise-Record. We also spoke at the 8/17/99 City Council meeting. This also happens to be an example of something that a Conservation Chairperson might do for the chapter.
