Once again we would encourage anyone who likes to look at birds to join us on one or more of these counts. Even if you're a beginner you'll see lots of birds! We will put those who are less accomplished with those who are more seasoned. You don't have to go for the whole day but we hope that you will. Dress warmly and in layers so if the day warms up you can lighten up. Bring lunch and something to drink. After the counts everyone meets somewhere for dinner and to tally the number of birds and species.

• December 31st - Honey Lake. Meet at Denny's in Susanville between 6:30 and 7 AM.
