Sunday, May 17 - Dog Island. Meet at 7:30 at the Chico Park & Ride and we'll carpool up to Red Bluff to see how the birding at Dog Island is this year. This used to be quite a good spot, but a lot of the undergrowth has been cleared out in the fairly recent past (with good reason), so the birding there may have been adversely effected. If it's not good there, then there are a number of other interesting spots in the Red Bluff area that we may visit.
