March 6,7and 8 - Honey Lake and Environs. We'll meet at the Chico Park and Ride on Friday at 5 PM. We'll dine in Susanville and those who wish to camp can do so at the Fleming unit at Honey Lake, or there are motels in Susanville. We'll meet on Saturday morning at 7 AM at the 7 Acre Restaurant in Litchfield for a day of Raptors and Waterfowl. Sunday we'll meet the corner of Mapes Rd. and Highway 395 to go look for Sage Grouse, the rest of the day will be spent touring Janesville and the Biz Johnson Trail in Susanville.

Saturday, March 14th - Chico Oxidation Ponds work day. Meet us at 9 AM at the oxidation ponds. Bring liquids, power foods, gardening gloves and tools. We are going to weed around the trees we planted last year and re-stake them. Ten or more people should be able to clean it up in about 3 hours or less. Sunday, March 22 - Upper Bidwell Park. Meet at the old shooting range at 7:30 AM for a day of exploration in Bidwell Park. You may only wish to go for half day and that is fine. Those coming for the whole day bring lunch and liquids. Lets see if we can turn up any early migrants.
